Rocking Horse for Children

Can you remember the joy of your rocking horse? My siblings & I had a rocking horse that we shared and my own children had one as well. I still have both of them. I am just really particular about who I let ride them these days.

The Wonder Horse we had as children had the huge springs that held the horses to a metal frame. Would you believe they still make those? They really are iconic beauty!

However, as I researched the current day Wonder Horse, I found that I would rather recommend another trusted name to manufacture a rocking horse today.

Radio Flyer makes the highest recommended Rocking Horse, similar to the Wonder Horse, but easier to put together and features interactive sounds triggered by the child’s activity.

It would be wonderful if our children could also have a horse they can pass down to their children.

The weight capacity is 60 lbs. and the recommended ages are 2 years to 6 years.

One safety feature that I really like about the Radio Flyer Riding Horse is the fabric sleeves used to cover the heavy gauge springs. Our original rocking horse did not have covers for the springs and we did scratch our legs on the ends of the springs. Having spring covers for protection is a definite improvement!

The Wonder Horse Riding Horse would be beautiful in any room! He would be precious in a child’s game-room or bedroom.  But, he would also sit in the den of your home. That way, you child could sit on the pony while they watch tv and you watch them. I have no doubt any child would love this rocking horse and spend many hours of fun with their new pony.
